On Monday, the South Americans Messi, Mascherano, Alexis and Adriano will be joining them for training at the Ciutat Esportiva. There will be two sessions at 9.00 and 19.00, both behind closed doors.

4 million?

Wow, we bought him for 14 didn’t we? We should sell though. He won’t get to play for the first team anyway. Everytime I tell myself I have nothing more to say about Cesc, a new rumour along the lines of “He will join us soon” is spread. If Xavi is 100 per cent, then it won’t matter( I hope).
Thoughts or predictions for the 14th anybody?

The price for Keirrison was €14 million +€2 million depending on number of appearances

If you ask me this was one of the worst signings Barcelona ever made

Good question

I’m not entirely sure but I think its just a matter of him not convincing the coaching staff. Will try to find out more now that you asked

He has been poor at Santos

And Fiorentina on loan, that’s why he is trusted.

Did you ever see him playing?

being Brazilian O would think he should have feel comfortable at Santos. I suppose this only shows of how much risk is involved in buying young, promising but not truly tested players . Imagine spending 45 mil on Neymar and flopping it

by hobo_barca on Aug 8, 2011 8:02 PM CEST up reply actions

I never did

But Santos had him til 2012, but cancelled it, as did Fiorentina. This doesn’t bode well, though if we can make him learn the system he could be a decent player
