Iniesta: "Madrid will demand a perfect game" | FC Barcelona

Barcelona's Sandro Rosell calls on RFEF to follow FA's example and punish Real Madrid's Pepe - Goal.com

Cancer survivor Abidal gives Rolex to sick boy - Yahoo! Sports

Mourinho meltdown and hints of civil war at Real Madrid | Sid Lowe | Football | guardian.co.uk
Had Mourinho given in? Or was he sticking them on the pitch knowing that it was almost a no-lose situation for him: if Madrid won, they won; if they lost, he could say: "see, that's what you get when we play your way." Had he also prevented the players from "making the bed" for him? They couldn't very well effectively down tools and turn him over precisely on the day that he did what they wanted.

Mourinho 'to quit in June' - Yahoo! Eurosport
The claim that Mourinho will quit came from highly-respected Spanish football journalist Siro Lopez, who said after Real Madrid's 4-1 win against Athletic Bilbao at the weekend that the former Chelsea boss will walk away from his £11.5 million-a-year job at the end of the season. Lopez, who writes about football for newspaper AS, claimed that his source was one of Mourinho's closest allies.

Villarreal win to move out of drop zone - Yahoo! Eurosport
Villarreal recorded their first win in seven games and climbed out of the relegation zone with a 3-0 La Liga win at home to fellow strugglers Sporting Gijon. Sao Paulo close in on Villarreal's Nilmar - report - Goal.com
Brazilian sources suggest that Villarreal vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza is currently in Sao Paulo locked in talks with the Morumbi club to discuss the striker's transfer. Nilmar has been heavily linked with a new challenge in recent times after a disappointing start to his third season at the club.

Abel Resino takes Granada post | LFP
Granada announced on Monday that Abel Resino will take over as first team coach for the Rojiblancos until the end of the season. The Andalucian club said that they value Abel’s trajectory as a manager, since he entered coaching at Ciudad de Murcia. Abel will oversee his first training session in charge on Tuesday and will later be officially presented in the press room at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes.

Well yea it surprises me

Why does Madrid always get away with stuff like this?they are richest club in the world with a squad worth like 400 million…why do they even bother with the dirty game…and specifically pepe who needs a very harsh punishment in the hope that he will Finally know that he can’t get away with stuff like that…they detracting from the main issue by going on about xenophobia, racism, and fighting in the locker room…everyone should just shut up..ban pepe for 10 matches and get on with it

I what you are saying, In fact we are on one side

I just meant that I’m used to people getting away with stuff in spain so it doesn’t surprise me that Pepe “got lucky”

10 matches? I'm not saying he shouldn't be banned..

….but I could only see a ban like that is that if he broke Messi’s hand. And as far as I know, there has been no physio report stating that his hand was broken, or that it was even damaged in any sort of way. Plus how often does a FA, give a retro active Red Card?

Hopefully that means Pep will stay!

by Sebanovic on Jan 24, 2012 4:45 PM CET via mobile reply actions

I hate that my BP goes up everytime his contract is up for renewal…i mean i get why he does it and all, just doesn’t help my health…

Read the latest doing the rounds on low mou?

Supposed to have told the players after the CL 1st leg something along the lines of ‘we can’t win the 2nd leg and so should play to avoid a humiliating defeat’ so that they can complain about the refs…casillas had a problem with it..and all came up recently cause of his defensive approach in CDR…came out in the el pais…author by the name or torres…if that’s true..its crazy…

Our very own Keita is playing for Mali now

He just made a Xavi-esque pass but the attacker mistimed his run:(
