The Club will appeal the red card that was shown to Javier Mascherano during the Deportivo-FC Barcelona match this weekend. The Blaugrana defender was given his second yellow card on 49 minutes for "knocking down an opponent while disputing the ball," according to referee Paradas Romero’s post-match report. The player picked up his first yellow card on the 20th minute.
