FC Barcelona take on Rayo Vallecano tonight as they go in search of their eighth league victory of the season. A victory at Vallecas tonight would put them three points clear at the top of the table - for at least 20 or so hours anyway - and it would also extend their lead over Real Madrid to eleven points - again, at least for 24 hours or so. On paper, this fixture is a complete mismatch and the Blaugrana should stroll to victory, but Rayo are impressive at home and Barca could find it difficult to impose their usual style of play on such a small pitch.
