It has been confirmed that Adriano has picked up a thigh injury and will be on the sidelines for three weeks.

Further tests have confirmed the Adriano Correia, FC Barcelona's full back/utility man, will miss approximately three weeks with a thigh injury. Exactly when Adriano picked up the injury is unknown, but he was first seen favoring the injured area in the 37th minutes. Tito Vilanova acted immediately and replaced Adriano with Dani Alves two mintues later before any further damage could be done.

Adriano was having a good game until that point even scoring the first goal of the game, though he could've defended better when Celta Vigo scored their goal.

Adriano was going through his best stretch since joining the Catalan club so far this season and was even tied for third on the club in La Liga goals with three, behind Lionel Messi and David Villa. The Brazilian made 11 appearances at both full-back positions as well in the heart of the defense this season. Adriano also helped the team this season with an assist.
