The refereeing is awful in the La Liga
but it’s not always Barcelona that get favorable calls. It’s a shame that referees ruined so many games (especially this season).

Poor Movement
I don’t know what it is, but there has been a major lack of off the ball movement. Normally, when someone receives the ball, he has at least two options, one attacking and the other supporting, by which he can release to, but I’m not seeing that tonight.
This seasons been crazy..
Constant change of formation, personal and injuries have really changed the dynamics of the team..

I'm still wary of Puyol's side
He did get us the goal, and of course I love him, but from a tactical point of view I’m nervous of him up against both Mathieu and Jordi Alba. He’s not a natural full-back, so he doesn’t have the pace or stamina of them.
If you recall, our comeback at mestalla was actually using a 3-4-3, and without Puyol on the field. It was Dani Alves / Adriano on the right side, matching up 2 full backs vs. 2 full backs on that side.

Honestly
If you told me before the game that it would end at 1-1, I would take it, but with all the chances that we missed today I’m actually disappointed with this result.

yep, bad indeed.
but im not too worried. another draw and i will be. as we all know our level of play is so high that it must dip at times. shell shock from el clasico and a struggling midfield. chaos in the middle of the pitch absolutely kills us. it disrupts every aspect of our game. it seems as though everyone is taking a page out of the madrid clasico playbook and its working. wake up fabergas—pull it together messi—and do some damn yoga iniesta!!! ugly match. fortunate draw and we move forward.

There are actually some positives from these games
Xavi got some well deserved rest…and will start the league game with thiago…
Hopefully Pedro will be back by then as well..
The bad news is..teams have figured out that they can foul barca all they want in the middle of the park and get away with it..only way to fix this is to get xavi and a fully fit iniesta on the pitch…those two along with busquets will move the ball around much quicker..not to mention iniesta is brilliant in the final third…cesc and thiago are not
below par messi..but i suspect that’s just cause of all the extra workload..resting him is out of the question..but i dare say hell be back with his A game once iniesta is..

he didn’t play their last game, OK, he was physically present, but beyond that… he did not play because he lacks certain attributes lately
