I didn't see the game, but that has been the case all season
Rodri did have two great games before yesterday, but I don’t understand why managers (not only Eusebio) wait so long with subbing players that are tired/underperforming. I mean it’s Football Manager 101. And the B team is right now really missing Sergi Roberto’s creativity. Also, for some reason Eusebio doesn’t trust Espinosa, who always seems to play great when he’s actually given a chance.

I thought Thiago would make a big step this season.
But, frankly, I’ve seen more of him when he’s played as a winger (Club World Cup) than as the Xavi/Iniesta role. Cesc, for all the flack he gets, actually looks to be getting slightly better at that role.

But his play is too linear at the moment to suggest that he will be a success for me. He always fakes a cut inside, before pushing it towards the by-line to use his speed and sending a low cross in. I assume better defenders will not have too many problems with him if he keeps doing it

Pretty big wound on the shin
Not sure who it was, but he stepped on Busi’s shin (while he was making a tackle). Nothing intentional about it, but they immediately put a bandage on it and carted him off. Too early to speculate what’s the diagnosis.

Why do you guys think JDS would be preferred to Keita?
Last year, Keita led the team in appearances. Right now this season, he’s much lower (12th) but has more appearances than Cuenca, Villa, Pique, Puyol, Adriano Alexis, Iniesta… granted lots of them have missed time due to injury and Keita tends to make 5 minute appearances, but Jonathan?
