Pep Guardiola ended a sparkling four-year spell in charge of Barcelona by watching his side dismantle Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the Copa del Rey final at the Vicente Calderon in Madrid. The Barca coach celebrated his 14th trophy courtesy of an astonishing opening 25 minutes in which his side netted three times with Athletic all over the place.

The manager, who was very clam, explained during his last press conference that he’s leaving "happy," especially because he "was able to to be part of this process that started so long ago, but it didn’t start nor does it end with me. Sandoval became a cult figure with fans as he led the Madrid-based club, who are in administration, back into La Liga after an eight-year absence last year but he fell out with the club hierarchy towards the end of the season.
