Jordi Alba has spent the past few days training separately from the main group as part of his recovery process from flu and missed out on the wins against Getafe and Spartak. On Thursday he was back alongside his team-mates.

Cristian Tello has revealed that his agent is in advanced talks with Barcelona over a new and improved contract. The versatile attacker's current deal is due to expire in the summer 2013, and Tello has reportedly attracted the interest of a number of foreign clubs.

After an initial burst at the start from the home side, the game dissipated into a closed affair, with only one attempt at goal, from the Swedes, recorded in the first half hour of play. However, it soon picked up after that, with Levante surging forward to eventually open the scoring five minutes before the break, through Juanfran, who benefited from Michel’s quick free-kick to fire into the bottom corner.
