2012 FIFA Ballon d'Or: Five Barcelona Players Named In FIFPro World XI

Five Barcelona players were named in the 2012 FIFPro World XI, and all eleven players in the team plied their trade in La Liga. The Barca players recognised were Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi

The 2012 FIFPro World XI has just been named in Zurich, and FC Barcelona make up the backbone of an all La Liga team contributing five of the eleven players. Despite losing out in La Liga and falling short in the UEFA Champions League, Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi were all named in the prestigious team - with Iker Casillas, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo and Falcao rounding off the XI.
