Adriano scored the only goal the last time these two sides met - David Ramos
A chance to predict the score of tonight's La Liga encounter between FC Barcelona and Valencia
Following Real Madrid's surprise 1-0 defeat at the hands of Granada, FC Barcelona have a chance to not only bounce back from Wednesday's El Clasico draw, but also move 18 points clear of their arch-rivals should they secure the three points on offer at the Mestalla. With Atletico Madrid kicking-off immediately after the Blaugrana, Barca could also temporarily extend their lead at the top of La Liga to 14 points. However, Valencia are in exceptional form, and with 15 points out of a possible 18, Ernesto Valverde will fancy his side's chances.
After all, his managerial record against Barcelona is good; Valverde has only suffered defeat against the Blaugrana twice - although equally, he has only ever beaten Barcelona once in his time as a manager. In all honesty, there really is little to separate these two teams on paper;so who do you think will emerge victorious tonight, and what will the score be come the final whistle? Vote in our poll below, and comment to confirm your prediction. Best of luck!
