Starting XI @ the Bernabeu?

First off, I wanna say hello to everyone in the Barca Blaugranes community, I'm a new user that joined this thread and I have to say it's fantastic discussion between all of us Barca fans.

Let's be honest, the whole Iniesta at left wing conundrum is one of the few problems we're having that's making our defense look terrible (look up: Puyol destroyed by Di Maria).

In my opinion tomorrow's starting line up should be a classic 4-3-3, with the same forwards that were winning games and got us our undefeated streak back in the first half of the season. 654919_f_c__barcelona_medium

Of course, Alves at right back, he's the one attacking option that does have some sort of cover when he goes up to attack, which is Pedro.

Pique and Puyol at centerback, call me crazy, but I'm not saying that just because Di Maria completely made our captain look like a rookie on Wednesday doesn't mean Puyol is garbage. In fact, Puyol did just enough by chasing him back to the penalty box, and still managing to (before he slipped) keep him on mark. Had he not slipped, that goal wouldn't have happened. Pique of course, the most in-form centerback.

Jordi Alba at left back, the best attacking option on the left side. The problem lurks between the next zone...

If not injured, Xavi will command the right zone of midfield, along with Busquets doing his basic defensive midfield role, blocking the opposition attack from getting to the back four. Iniesta needs to return to his crucial left center midfield role and take part with Busquets and Xavi. It was the triad that won all those games in the beginning of the season for Barca, which allow the left winger to return for Alba when he's attacking because let's face it, what was the point of purchasing Alba if you tell him "drop back" or "stay back"?

Up top, the MVP triad, Messi, Villa, Pedro. Pedro will cover for Alves, and Villa will (as he has been doing in the early season) cover for Alba. Messi of course in his traditional false 9 role, dropping back and passing around with Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets, and then getting inside for a tap in. Classic Lionel Messi.

If Xavi isn't present, then obviously Fabregas will be his alternative, keeping Iniesta and Busi. Simply put, I never understood why Iniesta would change to left wing, he wasn't effective against Milan there, he wasn't effective against Madrid.

Thoughts?
