The players, with the exceptions of Messi, Mascherano, Busquets and Xavi - all of whom worked with the team physio - trained on Field 2 of the Ciutat Esportiva. The Barça B players Oier, Muniesa and Deulofeu also took part in the session.

Club medical services have announced that Xavi Hernández is suffering from a strained hamstring in his right leg. On Thursday, he received treatment from the Club physios and according a press release, "His availability for the next match will depend on his evolution".
