In Rossel's press conference he stated that the club will not appoint anyone and wait for Tito's return even if it meant losing all the titles this season and that he would consider this season a success if at the end of the season Tito returns healthy. Its admirable that the Club considers Tito's health as priority and thats they way it should be because health matters come above everything else. Having said that it is also true that Managment cannot sit back and let things drift, the essense of Managment is to take decisions in the interests of the Club even if means difficult decisions. Right now Tito cannot and should not be burdened with the details of Club matters because he has to get back to health but that should not stop the Managment from taking decisions to appoint an interim Manager to tide over the difficult time. We have seen the results of the inaction with performances sliding down week by week so we cannot continue on the same path. As Appointing an interim manager would undermine Tito and his staff cannot be an arguement because Tito is not in a position to manage. I cannot agree with the statement of Rossel that club doesn't mind going trophy less this season in waiting for Tito to come back because both the things are not inter-related even if they appear to be so. Tito getting back to health is a priority and he should be allowed the time and peace to get back to health and not be burdened with team matters but in the meantime Club does not have to wait without a manager and lose title hopes. I think it was Peter Drucker the Managment guru who said Decisions must be made because to sit back and not to take decision is not an option. At worst if a bad decision is made turns it would hit me back immediately and with lesson learnt can correct the decision with the right one. Just a few thougts to get the debate going I hope.
