Once again Barça will be globe trotting in their pre-season, with the team set to visit three different European companies, two in Asia, as well as Israel and Palestine. The European leg begins on July 20th, with the team travelling 1,876 kilometres to open their pre-season against Lechia Gdansk in Poland and then returning home after the game.

Liverpool sign Luis Alberto - ESPN FC
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Sevilla striker Luis Alberto subject to international clearance. Alberto, 20, has signed a long-term contract with the club after passing a medical and becomes the latest part of manager Brendan Rodgers’ overhaul of the Liverpool squad this summer.

In 2012 Courtois helped the Rojiblancos win the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup, while last season he won the Copa del Rey and the Zamora Trophy as the goalkeeper with the lowest goals-to-game ratio in the Primera Division after conceding 29 goals in 37 appearances.

Nabil El Zhar sign for one more season at Levante > LFP
Levante UD and Nabil El Zhar have reached an agreement that will see Nabil play for Levante at least one more season with the option to renew said contract. The Franco-Moroccan player arrived at Levante UD for the 2011-12 season and since then he has played over 60 games and has scored two goals in Liga BBVA.

Levante sign keeper Javi Jimenez for three seasons > LFP
Goalkeeper Javi Jimenez has just signed with Levante UD for the next three seasons and will play for the team until the 30 June 2016. Javi Jimenez Camarero (08-06-1987, Logroño, La Rioja) arrives at Levante after having played for Real Murcia in which he played for two seasons in Liga Adelante. He was a starter in this past season, totalling 40 games.

Carlos Pena renews for Valladolid until 2015 > LFP
Real Valladolid and Carlos Gonzalez Peña were determined to reach an agreement that would see said player continue with the team from Castilla y Leon and that is why both parts were quick to sign for him to play until 30 June 2015. He first started off with Valladolid when they were relegated in 2010 and has since then been a key player on the team.

Riki signs with Granada CF for another three seasons > LFP
Granada CF have signed on Ivan Sanchez-Rico Soto, better knows as ´Riki´, for the next three seasons. He comes from Deportivo La Coruña, is a forward but can also play in other positions on the field, notably in mid field.

Almeria back in top flight after two-year absence - Yahoo! Eurosport UK
Midfielder Aleix Vidal fired inside the near post to put Almeria ahead in the 17th minute at their Juegos Mediterraneos stadium on the south coast. Prolific striker Charles struck a second for the Andalusians seven minutes after halftime and put the tie beyond Girona when he made it 3-0 in the 70th minute.
