Following the completion of Jornada One, it feels as though not much has changed in La Liga. FC Barcelona – after leading from day one last season – are top once again, Real Madrid’s squad is full of stars, but seem disjointed – fractured almost – and well, everyone else is just fighting to stay relevant. Given the current economic climate in Spain, many clubs have been forced to sell their best players to simply pay the bills, and as a result, La Liga is as unpredictable as ever.
That’s if you exclude the "Big Two" anyway.
And in light of this, why not have some fun? Full credit to Villarreal USA and Managing Madrid for running with this idea first, giving us some inspiration for a variation of our own – let’s try and predict what’s going to happen this La Liga (and World Football) this season.
