The first team squad continued preparations for Saturday's league game against Seville at the Camp Nou, with all the international players back home safe and sound. Tata Martino led the session, in which Leo Messi took a full part, as did Sergio Busquets and Dani Alves.

Atletico Madrid have announced that full-back Juanfran Torres has renewed his contract with the club through to June 2017. The former winger, who has been converted to a more defensive position since moving to the Vicente Calderon in January 2011, has agreed a two-year extension to his current deal.
