It was a good day for Neymar and Pedro as both players showed off his basketball skills alongside his Brazil teammates after this afternoon’s training session in Brasilia, while Pedro was congratulated and cheered by his Spain team-mates after he nailed a near-perfect bicycle kick during Spain's training session.

Times confirmed for three league matches | FC Barcelona
Barça now know the times of games 5, 6 and 7 in La Liga after an announcement was made today by the LFP. In just seven days, they’ll be playing all of Rayo Vallecano, Real Sociedad and Almeria, just after starting their Champions League campaign against Ajax.

Barcelona are reportedly setting their sights on Atletico Madrid’s on-loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to replace Victor Valdes. The Catalans are in the market for a goalkeeper to come in next summer, when Valdes departs on reaching the end of his contract. Marca believe that Barca have identified Courtois, who is into a third consecutive season on loan at Atleti from parent club Chelsea.

Nine players exercised today under Jorge Pautasso, who for the first session of this unusual week replaced Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino.

No fewer than ten players from Barça B trained today at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper along with the nine available first team players. Like on Wednesday, the session was overseen by assistant coach Jorge Pautasso.

This error has been put down to a leadership vacuum, as Real did not have a club president at the time.

Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2017. The 31-year-old arrived at La Rosaleda in 2011 from Elche and has become a key member of the team as they competed in the Champions League for the first time last season.

Javi Gracia appointed new Osasuna coach - ESPN FC
Former Almeria boss Javi Gracia has been appointed Jose Luis Mendilibar's successor at Osasuna, signing a two-year contract with the La Liga club. Osasuna sit bottom of the Primera Division and three losses from as many games to start the season led to Mendilibar being sacked on Tuesday.
