Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino has decided, as is usually the case for big games like these, to take his full squad to Valencia for the cup final against Real Madrid. That makes for 24 players, the only absentee being Víctor Valdés, who has only just undergone surgery and therefore it wouldn’t be advisable for him to embark on a journey like this.

The plane took off at 6:20 PM CET from El Prat airport and touched down in Turia at 7:00 PM CET. President Josep María Bartomeu led the expedition, and he was accompanied by members of the Board of Directors.

20,000 fans join team in Valencia | FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona will not be alone at the cup final in Valencia. Some 20,000 fans will be at Mestalla to support the team. The busses and trains organized by the club started leaving at 5.45 this morning to take 1,500 fans to the city where the final is taking place.
