Carles Pérez has agreed to join AS Roma, according to reports from Mundo Deportivo and Diario SPORT.
The young winger’s move has been rumored for a while and it seems the final steps are being taken before its made official. The player has reportedly already said goodbye to his teammates in anticipation of a flight to Rome tomorrow.
The move was on the verge of being completed before, but Barcelona had halted it because they wanted to include a buyback clause, according to rumor. However, it seems that this was for naught as the new reports say that the sale will go through without a buyback option. Barcelona do reportedly have a right to a percentage of any future sale, however. The fee is supposed to be around 15 million euro, with Pérez signing until 2024.
