Happy 31st Birthday, Xavi Hernandez

As Barcelona long-time supporters, we simply can't ignore Xavi Hernandez's birthday. The man is a legend and the best Spanish player of all-time!

Xavi joined Barcelona's youth academy in 1991 and the first team in 1998. 20 years after joining the greatest club in the world, he now holds the club appearances record with 553 and counting. During this period, he won five La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, four Spanish Super Cups, two Champions Leagues, one UEFA Super Cup and one Club World Cup - overall 14 trophies with Barcelona (along with several individual accolades) with the promise of many more to come.

He also won the U-20 World Cup, the Olympic Silver Medal, the Euro and the World Cup with Spain.

At 31, there's nothing left to achieve for Xavi but he's still as motivated as ever to win everything... all over again and become even more of a legend!

We at Barca Blaugranes feel obliged to pay tribute to this great legend and wish him a very happy birthday, and also that he remains at Barcelona until the end of his career, a wish he expressed many times.

Long Live Xavi Hernandez, El Maestro: The Legend!
