There has been no official confirmation as of yet, but it has been claimed by RAC1 and TV3 that the first Clasico of the season will take place on the 10th of December at 22:00 CET. That means a 9PM start here in England, a 6AM start in Japan, 1PM in Los Angeles and 4PM in New York. The world will be watching eagerly and the match is unlikely to disappoint, unless Barcelona lose of course ;)
Official confirmation will materialise in the days to come, but this is great for FC Barcelona, considering the Club World Cup commitments that start the following week. The Blaugrana are still unbeaten under Guardiola at the Bernabeu, and his first game in charge at the famous stadium ended particularly well. Catch those highlights after the jump.

This was the match that really shook the world and announced the arrival of a new Dream Team. Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi both scored a brace, while Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique each grabbed a goal. I remember watching the game in disbelief as Barca piled on goal after goal in a legendary performance, although it would be crazy to expect a similar result in December.
Doesn’t stop a guy dreaming though...
