Spanish giants Real Madrid are on the verge of completing the transfer of Portugal international Fabio Coentrao from Benfica, and could announce the deal in the next few days, Spanish publication AS comments. Last week speculation claimed that both clubs had reached an agreement over an initial transfer fee of €22 million, and the capital giants now look set to wrap up the deal.

Valencia should tie up the transfer of midfielder Daniel Parejo from Getafe on Monday, with goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya set to head in the opposite direction, according to AS. The 22-year-old has reached an agreement with the Mestalla outfit, who were required to negotiate with his former club, Real Madrid, who had a buy-back option on the player which expired on May 30.
