Barcelona's pre-season tour of the USA is set to commence tomorrow as they take on Manchester United in their first friendly match on U.S. soil since 2009. The match is one of the most anticipated pre-season friendlies since it is a rematch of the UEFA Champions League final which Barcelona won 3-1.

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez is not expected to play against Barcelona after being given a medical absence of two weeks for a concussion suffered in training. Barcelona for their part are without the services of Jonathan Soriano who sustained a ligament injury during the Audi cup final. Barcelona travel with the same squad that took part in the Audi cup for the USA tour minus the services of the injured. All of Barcelona's South American players who took part in the Copa America, such as Lionel Messi, Gabriel Milito, Javier Mascherano, Alexis Sanchez, Dani Alves, and Adriano, will also be absent from this event.

In total Barcelona are set to play three matches in the United States with the following dates :

Match day 1 will be held on 7/30/11 at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, against Manchester United.

Match day 2 will be held on 8/3/11 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida, against C.D. Guadalajara also know as Chivas of Mexico.

Match day 3 will be held on 8/6/11 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, against Club America of Mexico.

That's all for now, please stay tuned for more new & updates.
