Unbeknownst to me, the fixtures for La Liga’s upcoming season were announced today. I think you will agree that there are some excellent match-ups on the first matchday, with the pick of the bunch being the Betis-Sevilla derby, and Real Madrid’s clash with Athletic Bilbao.
For the eighth time in nine seasons, the Blaugrana start away, in a repeat of the last fixture of last season, as Guardiola and company travel to La Rosaleda to face new challengers Malaga.
The first Clasico is scheduled for December 10th or 11th, but it is likely to be moved, due to Barcelona’s Club World Cup commitments. The second, is at the Camp Nou, and will take place around the 22nd of April. Read on after the jump to see Barca’s full league schedule.
