The Chilean spent the rest of the time working in isolation, after pulling a muscle in his left leg during the warm-up before the game with Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Valencia have confirmed they have agreed to sell Spain international midfielder Juan Mata to Chelsea. Mata is reported to have spoken with Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas on Friday and he is expected to join the Premier League club for a fee of 27 million euros (£23.5m).
