Welcome everyone to match day three which is also the last match to be played in the USA by Barcelona this year. If you haven't kept up with all the summer friendlies of the club, Barcelona has lost it's last two matches of the tour against Manchester United 2-1, and against Chivas/ C.D. Guadalajara 4-1.

Once again Barcelona is expected to field a team of reserve players backed up by a few first team members. Also, don't expect to see any of the players who participated in the Copa America unless of course your a fan of Adriano, who returned early from his vacation to join the tour.

One would expect Barcelona to field a team with more regular starters since Barcelona are due to play the Spanish Super Copa against Real Madrid in seven days time. This decision of course has not been made by Guardiola who has used the previous friendlies to assess the progress of Barcelona B players as well as some recently promoted players such as Andreu Fontas and Thiago Alcantara. We should be optimistic, and hopefully we will see a squad closer to a first team squad since no doubt Pep will feel the pressure of the upcoming cup starting to mount. But we can only hope for now since official line-ups are yet to be announced.

We will see how this last game turns out for Barcelona but, if the previous games are any indication to go by, do not expect to go out and see your favorite team at full strength and I will even go as far as to predict that no victory will be achieved, based on previous results fielding a weakened side. Well enough of my pessimism, hopefully we'll see a decent game and Barcelona will win it.

One thing you can expect for sure is for Dallas Texas to be boiling hot at kick-off, today's high expected to be around 108 degrees. Anyways, enjoy the game, be safe in the heat if you happen to go watch it live, and please join us in the live game thread to express your thoughts and emotions during the match.
