Puyol Out For Six Weeks

Carles Puyol's gruesome injury has been declared a dislocated elbow and he is estimated to be out for six weeks.

FC Barcelona's captain suffered an injury that was hard to look at after he took a leap and landed awkwardly in the victory over SL Benfica in the Champions League.

Early reports suggest it will take six weeks for Captain Caveman to return to the field. One of the toughest defenders in world football, his season has been marred by constant injuries.

Bear in mind, however, that he was playing because he came back from a previous injury that was supposed to take six weeks to heal, but in reality took less than three.

Meanwhile Barca is left to ponder how much more abuse Puyol's body can take, while Alex Song prepares for (in all likelihood) his first start in el Clasico versus Real Madrid in just a few days.
