UEFA Champions League: 3 October 2012: Live Open Thread

A live thread for all of the night's UEFA Champions League matches, including Real Madrid's clash with Ajax, and Manchester City's game with Borussia Dortmund.

Barcelona managed to secure all three points in their match last night and kept top spot in Group G as a result. It also means that they will start the Clasico looking for a seventh successive win in all competitions; can Real Madrid claim their fourth successive victory tonight or will Ajax be able to claim a shock result at the Amsterdam Arena? Los Blancos have opted for a strong XI, with Sergio Ramos keeping his place at the back, while Marcelo starts at left-back. Michael Essien takes his place in midfield, but Mesut Ozil, Gonzalo Higuain, Luka Modric and Sami Khedira all have to settle for a place on the bench.

Whatever match you're watching tonight, be sure to stick around here for updates on the night's other games.
