However, the Brazil Under-20 international has now been shipped out on loan to Madrid's Castilla squad, having already taken part in the club's training session on Thursday.

Valencia confirm preliminary agreement with Real Madrid for Gago -
Valencia have confirmed that a "preliminary agreement" has been reached with both Real Madrid and Fernando Gago over a transfer to Mestalla. The transfer has yet to be confirmed by either club but it is believed that Gago will put pen to paper on a four-year contract on Friday.
