UEFA Under 19 European Championship: Spain vs Estonia: Live Open Thread

Today could well be the end of Spain’s quest to retain UEFA’s Under 19 European Championship, although that is highly unlikely. To progress, all Spain need to do is draw their final group game with the hosts Estonia. Estonia qualified automatically as hosts, and so far in the tournament have shown that they wouldn’t have gotten to this stage with ability alone. Portugal and Greece outclassed them, and the chances are that Spain will do the same. Jese, Gerard Deulofeu and company have impressed the fans with their football so far, and today could be a chance to score a few goals. Jese is already the leading scorer with four goals, and a couple more today could not only secure him Golden Boot, but perhaps the prize for best player as well.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to watch the game, but for those who have some free time it is being broadcast on Eurosport2 and on GolTV in the USA. Enjoy the game!
