After joining up on Monday following his break after the Euro 2012 competition, Barça’s Catalan centre half reckons "we are all keen to start the season. There are many challenges ahead, such as starting with a new coach and incorporating Jordi Alba and the B team lads. The squad is really up for it and we are keen to start winning again".

Times for first three games confirmed | FC Barcelona
The kick off times for the first three games of the new season have been announced, with Barça making their debut against Real Sociedad on Sunday August 19th at 21.00. A week later, following the Joan Gamper Trophy on Monday 20th and the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup on Thursday 23rd, the team travel to Pamplona to play Osasuna on 26th with the kick off at 19.00.

Lucas Porcar, to Zaragoza | LFP
Zaragoza has signed the player, Lucas Porcar, from Villarreal B, for the next three seasons. The new Zaragoza player is from Sant Cugat del Valles and was born on the 18th February 1990. Last season, the promising central midfielder played 26 matches with Villarreal B in the Liga Adelante, scoring six goals.
