It's the question everyone is dying to know the answer to: Just how many goals will Lionel Messi score this season? The Argentine was in sensational form last season, grabbing 73 goals in 60 games, and he's started this season well with eight goals from six appearances. All signs point to another record-breaking haul, after all, there has only been one season where Messi hasn't improved upon his goal tally from the previous season. However, with David Villa returning and with Pedro hitting form, will we find that the goals get shared a little more evenly this season?

So, how many goals do you think Messi will score this season? He has eight already, and with a maximum of 56 games left to play, he is on course for around 80 (so long as he plays each and every game remaining and keeps up his average of 1.33 goals per game). Do you think he will beat his record from last season? Maybe even break the century mark? Whatever your opinion, it'll be very interesting to see the average by the end of the poll.

Note: In yesterday's poll, we asked who you would like to start on the left-wing against Spartak Moscow, and David Villa unsurprisingly ran away with 60% of the votes. Will we see a first start for Villa when we host the Russians tomorrow? All I can say is that it would be a popular move!
