Injury Report: Thiago Picks Up Injury

At this point details are difficult to find, but what is know is that Thiago injured his knee. The youngster came on the pitch as a substitute in Barcelona's 3-2 victory against Sevilla, replacing Sergio Busquets in the 76th minute, and suffered the injury at some point during the remaining 14 minutes plus added time. He remained on the pitch until the final whistle.

Early reports are suggesting that Thiago suffered a torn MCL, but that information has not yet been made official. If that is truly the case the crucial piece of information we're missing is what grade the tear is, which will determine how much time the midfielder will miss. Until we know that the recovery time ranges from 10 days to 2 months, but further tests have already been ordered.

The worrying part here is that the Catalunya Ràdio is reporting that those tests can't be taken now because Thiago is in too much pain. Hopefully the tests won't show any further damage to the knee.
