An official injury report has been released by FC Barcelona wherein it is confirmed that Thiago suffered an injury to the medial collateral ligament, the MCL, in his left knee. The severeness of the injury to the MCL, or if there is any other damage to the knee, is still unknown so yesterdays reported recovery time range from 10 days to 2 months is still in effect.
Tests that will determine the full extent of the injury have been ordered for today so we should soon expect an update from the club that will make Thiago's recovery time official.
