UEFA Champions League: Celtic FC vs FC Barcelona: Predict the Score

No Lionel Messi, no Javier Mascherano; no problem? FC Barcelona may be without two of their best players for tonight's UEFA Champions League clash with Celtic FC, but the Blaugrana are still expected to escape Celtic Park with the three points. With six consecutive wins in all competitions, Barcelona are in great form, performing arguably the best that they have under Gerardo Martino to date.

The offense is scoring goals for fun and somehow the defense is holding relatively firm too; Celtic on the other hand have been less than impressive. Their domestic form has been patchy and they have really struggled in the UEFA Champions League. Sure, they progressed in the end, but what about their troubles against Kazakh minnows, Shakhter Karagandy?

Certainly losing by two clear goals in Kazakhstan seems to suggest that Neil Lennon's side will find it extremely tough on their travels, making these home matches vital to their hopes for qualification.

So, we should expect a cautious approach from the hosts,  who will most likely look to do their damage on the counter attack. Can Barcelona's defense cope with the Celtic threat? Will our Messi-less offense find a way through a disciplined Celtic defense?
