La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Celta Vigo: Predict the Score

FC Barcelona have a chance to secure their tenth win of this young La Liga campaign tonight as they prepare to take on Luis Enrique's Celta Vigo in Galicia. The hosts have won just one of their last nine matches, but what a win it was as Lucho's side left La Rosaleda with the three points, five goals and a clean sheet, demolishing fellow strugglers Malaga this past weekend. Normally, that would be an encouraging win, but as Luis Enrique surely knows, Barcelona will be on a even bigger "high" after this past weekend's El Clasico victory over Real Madrid.

Even though the Blaugrana were not at their best, they were still too strong for Los Blancos, earning the three points courtesy of the heroics of Neymar and Alexis Sanchez.

In a sense, it was vindication for Gerardo Martino and everyone involved in the decision to hire the Argentine. His lack of experience in Europe was supposed to be a hindrance; the fact that was neither Spanish nor Dutch was also supposed to cause friction -- especially when compared to the other standout candidate, Luis Enrique. Yet here we are, ten Jornadas into the new season and Martino has set a blistering pace atop La Liga, while Enrique struggles to make an impact in Vigo.

Certainly it appears as though the board and Sandro Rosell in particular made the right decision in hiring Tata Martino, and the Argentine has the chance to put the icing on the cake if you will with yet another win over Luis Enrique.

Gerard Piqué will be rested, while there are also suggestions that he will be figuratively joined by Xavi and Neymar.
