Jonathan dos Santos to undergo operation on Tuesday | FC Barcelona
The Club Medical Services have announced that Jonathan dos Santos will undergo an operation on Tuesday on cruciate ligaments in his right knee. The arthroscopy will be performed at the Clínica Dexeus by doctors Joan Carles Monllau and Ricard Pruna.

Two games to think about: Milan and Betis | FC Barcelona
The FC Barcelona players are off until Monday, but they’ll have plenty to think about when they get back, They have a Champions League match midweek and a Liga fixture at the weekend. On Wednesday, it’s Italian giants AC Milan who’ll be coming to the Camp Nou and on Sunday they’ll be flying down to Seville to face Betis in the 13th game of the domestic championship.

AC Milan’s season is not going at all to plan. The return of Kaka was meant to give a breath of fresh air to the team but instead the red-and-blacks are in big trouble. But neither has luck been on their side since holding Barcelona 1-1 at the San Siro, with late goals turning a potential draw into defeat away to Parma (3-2), and a home win against Lazio into a draw (1-1).

Real Madrid, who are targeting la Decima, have an average of 26 years, while rivals Barcelona, who recently won the tournament in 2009 and 2011 are slightly older at 27. This is also the case for the two Manchester clubs, United and City, both of whom had an average of 27-years-old. Arsenal are slightly younger at 26, and 2012 winners Chelsea are older at 28 years of age. French champions Paris Saint-Germain have an average of just under 26.

Coentrao ruled out of Juventus clash -
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti will be without Fabio Coentrao for his side's Champions League clash with Juventus after the left-back suffered an ankle problem. The Portugal international picked up the knock in Madrid's 3-2 Liga win over Rayo Vallecano and was forced to leave the pitch in the dying minutes of the first half of the encounter.

The victory at a festive Calderon, Atletico's 11th in 12 matches this season, trimmed the gap to unbeaten leaders Barca back to one point and restored their five-point advantage over city rivals Real in third. Champions Barca, 1-0 winners over Espanyol in Friday's Catalan derby, have 34 points, with Atletico on 33 and Real, who beat Rayo Vallecano 3-2, on 28.

Dorlan Pabon's rocket late in the first half was enough to give under-fire coach Miroslav Djukic some breathing space. Getafe matched their opponents for most of the game and had several chances to score, the best of which fell to Jaime Gavilan in the last minute. Real Betis defender Damien Perquis broke his jaw in two places in a clash of heads that left the Poland international unconscious in Malaga on Sunday night. He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance after regaining consciousness and medical tests subsequently confirmed a "double fracture of the jaw".
