FC Barcelona News: 8 December 2013; Barça B Record Rare Home Victory, Real Madrid Held in Copa del Rey

Cesc Fàbregas scores in league, Cup and Europe | FC Barcelona
Midfielder Cesc Fàbregas is the first Barça player to score in all three major competitions this season. He’s scored a total of seven goals (5 in the league, one in the Champions League and one in the Cup) and has only failed to score in the Spanish Super Cup.

Jordi Alba: 80 minutes of "happiness" | FC Barcelona
The cup game in Cartagena featured some great individual performances. Pedro scored twice and Dongou marked his senior debut with a goal. Meanwhile, Jordi Alba returned to first team action 83 days after picking up an injury in a league match against Sevilla on 14th September. In Cartagena, he made his sixth start of the season and was replaced by Martín Montoya in the 81st minute.

The Olimpic players compete in a regional division one level below Real's B team and worked tirelessly on the artificial pitch to keep their illustrious visitors, the 2011 Copa winners, from barely managing a shot on target.
