La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Granada CF: Predict the Score

A chance to predict the score of tonight's La Liga match-up between Barcelona and Granada

David Ramos

Following last night's 2-1 win over Parma, AC Milan can now turn their attention to next week's UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg, while their opponents Barcelona have to first concentrate on tonight's La Liga clash with Granada. Is that an advantage for the Italian club; and to be honest, does it really matter that they have an extra day to prepare? Certainly, it seems more likely to make a difference than say, rescheduling a Clasico to kick-off just a few hours before it would have otherwise started, but at this level, I sincerely doubt it will make much of a difference. Barcelona after all can rest players for this match, and even then, they will still have the best part of four days to recover for the game against AC MIlan.

With that in mind, should we really be lowering our expectations just because Barca play an important match on Wednesday? Sure, it'd be a convenient excuse if we did drop points, but that's all it would be - an excuse. Whether the squad is rotated or not, Barcelona should have enough quality in their ranks to defeat Granada; but maybe you think otherwise? Whatever your opinion, vote in our poll below, and comment with your prediction for tonight's match. Best of luck!
