FC Barcelona News: 4 March 2013; Barça Take Two Days off Before Deportivo Game, Atletico Draw Against Malaga

Focus turns to Deportivo and Europe | FC Barcelona
The players will rest on Monday and Thursday but on Wednesday they’ll have a gruelling double training session. At 8 pm on Saturday they host Deportivo in the Camp Nou and the following day they’ll be back for training with all thoughts centred on the return leg of the Champions League tie against AC Milan.

Jose Mourinho has first-choice goalkeeper Iker Casillas back in his squad for the game at Old Trafford for the first time since January 23, but it remains unlikely that the Spain international will feature. Marcelo is also back in contention after recovering from injury and will push Fabio Coentrao for a place at left-back.

As two of Spain’s top four squared up in Andalusia there were no goals to enjoy despite an array of attacking talent on display for Malaga and Atletico Madrid. With the likes of Isco, Joaquin and Roque Santa Cruz on the hunt for goals for the home side and Atletico Mpartnering Falcao and Diego Costa in attack, with Juanfran supplying the crosses from the right, few would have predicted a goalless stalemate.

Pabon doubled the lead but Sociedad roared back with three goals in 11 minutes from Carlos Vela, Inigo Martinez and Xabi Prieto, the latter with a penalty. But Pabon's second secured a deserved share of the spoils for Betis, who more than played their part in a thrilling match.
