La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Deportivo La Coruna: Predict the Score

A chance to predict the score of Barcelona's La Liga encounter with Deportivo La Coruna

David Ramos

Deportivo La Coruna have lost six of their last seven matches and haven't managed a win away from home in over nine months (when they defeated Villarreal B by solitary goal). Barcelona on the other hand are 11 points clear at the top of La Liga and are unbeaten at the Camp Nou - at least in La Liga action. Is this even a contest? Even with Barcelona focusing on Tuesday's UEFA Champions League match against AC MIlan (side-note: why did Real get their game pushed back to 16:00 CET last week, but we have to play at 20:00 CET?), everyone expects a Blaugrana win. Can Deportivo shock the world and open up the title race with a surprise result at the Camp Nou, or will Barcelona simply prove too strong for Fernando Vazquez' side?

Given that Barcelona's "second-choice" XI is likely to include the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Alex Song and possibly even David Villa, one suspects that Barca will not only win, but do so convincingly. Will Lionel Messi start? Will he score in his seventeenth successive La Liga appearance? Will Barcelona finally keep a clean sheet? Whatever you think, be sure to predict the score of tonight's match by voting in our poll (powered by the nice folk over at Wayin, be sure to check out their site for more awesome polls on a whole range of topics) and commenting with your prediction below. Best of luck!
