UEFA Champions League: FC Barcelona vs PSG: Predict the Score

A chance to predict the score of tonight's UEFA Champions League clash between FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Jamie McDonald

Both sides sit atop of their respective leagues and both teams boast their league's respective top-scorers; in every sense of the word, this is going to be an epic clash. On the one hand you have Barcelona - a side steeped in history; a side who have previous in this very competition - and on the other you have Paris Saint-Germain - a relatively "young" football club, looking to make their own history in this prestigious competition. As Luis pointed out, these two teams represent different philosophies; make or buy - maybe even attack and defend. However, while there may be many differences between the two sides they are united by one common goal - win the UEFA Champions League.

Of course, there can only be one winner and that's where tonight's quarter-final first-leg comes into the picture. Having reached the semi-final stage of this competition for the past five seasons, the Blaugrana will almost expect to progress to the final four at PSG's expense, and with the likes of Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta in their squad, they will be quietly confident. On their day, each of the three players could almost secure progression on their own - Iniesta effectively won the tie against Chelsea back in 2009, Xavi dominated AC Milan in the Round of 16, and well, Messi's come to the rescue more times than I care to count. Will they be able to engineer another Barca win tonight? Or will Zlatan Ibrahimovic haunt his old side by inspiring PSG to victory? Predict the score of tonight's encounter by voting in our poll, and leaving your prediction in a comment below. Best of luck!
