Roura has guaranteed that the team is fully focused on Saturday’s game with Mallorca and that despite the missing players, they will do all they can to get a good result. "We will wait for Saturday’s training session to decide what eleven we’ll play. We’ll think hard about the options" said the FC Barcelona assistant manager.

The cliché in football always goes that "the next game is always the most important one" was never truer that it is on Saturday night. FC Barcelona host Mallorca in the middle of the two crucial Champions League matches against Paris Saint-Germain. The danger for the Catalans is that they need to remain focused on the Balearic Islanders, the second from bottom team who are coming to the Camp Nou in dire need of points in order to escape the relegation zone.

La Liga: Granada 1 Real Betis 5 - Soccerway
Real Betis climbed to sixth place in La Liga on Friday thanks to a 5-1 thumping of relegation battlers Granada. Three goals in four first-half minutes - two of them from striker Ruben Castro - had the visitors cruising at Granada's Estadio Los Carmenes. The result lifted Betis above Valencia into sixth place in the race for European football next season, while Granada are in 16th position - just four points clear of the relegation zone.

Real Sociedad took advantage of fifth-placed Malaga's European hangover and strengthened their grip on fourth place in la Liga with a 4-2 home win over the Costa del Sol club on Saturday. Carlos Vela fired the Basques ahead in the 21st minute at their Anoeta stadium in San Sebastian, Alberto De La Bella added a second three minutes later and Antoine Griezmann made it 3-0 just after the half hour. Pedro Morales pulled a goal back for the visitors just before the break and Inigo Martinez nodded a fourth six minutes into the second half.

eremy Menez proved his worth when he struck early in the second half to inspire Paris St Germain's B side to a 2-0 win at Stade Rennes as the leaders restored a seven-point lead at top of the Ligue 1 standings on Saturday. Zlatan Ibrahimovic headed home the second in stoppage time from David Beckham's chipped ball.

The mayor of Malaga has confirmed that the city will name a street in honour of Manuel Pellegrini. The Chilean Coach has been in charge of the Boquerones since 2010, leading them to their first ever season in the Champions League. And mayor Francisco De La Torre Prados has revealed that the Andalusian city will mark the occasion by naming a street in the 59-year-old's honour.
