La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Real Betis: Predict the Score

A chance to predict the score of tonight's La Liga clash between FC Barcelona and Real Betis. A win for the Catalans would move them to within two points of La Liga glory

Jasper Juinen

Thanks to Real Madrid's 4-3 win over Real Valladolid, the Blaugrana know that they must wait until next weekend at the earliest to secure the La Liga title. A win tonight, against seventh-place Real Betis will move Barcelona to within two points of La Liga glory - and who knows? If Real Madrid fail to defeat Malaga on Wednesday night, Barcelona may even wrap up the La Liga title this Wednesday, without even kicking a ball. However, Barca must first see off the challenge of Real Betis, without a number of key players. Victor Valdes is injured, Pedro is ill, while both Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets are unlikely to be at 100% - will Barcelona be able to secure the three points regardless of their growing injury list?

Certainly, the form book is on their side - Barcelona have won 66 of their 117 matches against Real Betis, and have also won 15 of their 16 La Liga matches at the Camp Nou this season, conceding just 11 goals in the process. That's the second-best defensive home record in the entire league to complement the league's best home record - it's almost inconceivable to think that Barcelona lost 3-0 at home just a few days ago. Will the Blaugrana be able to recover from that defeat to move one step closer to the La Liga title, or will Real Betis ensure that it's four matches without a win for Tito Vilanova's side? Predict the score by voting in our poll, and commenting with your score below. Best of luck!
