Brazil finished off their preparation for the Confederations Cup with a convincing 3-0 win over France in Porto Alegre. Barça’s Dani Alves and Neymar both figured in the game, with Alves laying the full 90 minutes and Neymar – who helped set up the Brazilians’ second goal, coming off with two minutes left to play.

With 9 Barça players in their squad, Spain warm up for the Confederations Cup with a friendly , as do Alves and Neymar with Brazil and the Spanish Under 21s play their second game of the tournament in the European Championships on Sunday. Mallorca president Lorenzo Serra Ferrer claims a club in the MLS - believed to be champions LA Galaxy - have made an offer for Giovani dos Santos, but says the Mexico international’s future has yet to be decided. Reports in Dos Santos’ home country say that LA Galaxy offered €8 million for the player last week.

Levante appoint Joaquin Caparros as new coach on one-year-deal | Sky Sports
The 57-year-old takes the reins from Juan Ignacio Martinez, who was told earlier this week he would not be offered a new contract when his current one expires on June 30. A statement on the club's official website confirmed Caparros, who has previously coached the likes of Villarreal, Sevilla and Deportivo La Coruna, will be presented to the press on Tuesday.

Levante get stronger as they take on Austrian player Andreas Ivanschitz > LFP
Levante UD are looking to strengthen their team for next season and have just recently acquired Austrian player Andreas Ivanschitz (October 15 1983). Pending a medical check, the Austrian player will play for Levante for the next three seasons.
