Barça’s 2013/14 preseason is taking shape. All that remains to be known is the day and opponent in the Joan Gamper Trophy and the dates of the Spanish Supercup, where Barça, as league champions, will be facing Copa del Rey winners Atlético Madrid.

Agreement to extend Eusebio's contract through 2014 | FC Barcelona
Eusebio Sacristán and FC Barcelona have agreed to extend the contract linking the two parties through June 30 of 2014. This deal includes the coaching staff of Barça B, who will also stay on an additional year.

Ilie Sánchez signs for two more years | FC Barcelona
Barça B will be keeping its captain for another two years. This Thursday Ilie Sánchez renewed his contract with FC Barcelona until June 30, 2015. The midfielder’s buyout fee will now be 12 million euros. He signed his new contract in the company of director Jordi Mestre.

Toulalan set for Atletico | Football Espana
Malaga and Atletico Madrid are reportedly just a step away from confirming the transfer of midfielder Jeremy Toulalan. Reports today are that both clubs are finalising the remaining details of the 29-year-old’s transfer. A fee of €5m has been agreed and the only obstacle remaining is in the two parties agreeing on Atleti’s form of payment.

Spartak Moscow seal Costa signing - ESPN FC
Valencia have confirmed the sale of Argentine midfielder Tino Costa to Russian side Spartak Moscow for an undisclosed fee. The surprise deal was finalised on Wednesday, as Miroslav Djukic was being unveiled as new Los Che coach. There was no official comment on the fee involved, but reports in Spain suggest Spartak paid about €7 million for the former Montpellier playmaker.

Valencia offer €6.7m for Giovani | Football Espana
Valencia are reportedly in advanced talks with Giovani dos Santos over a summer transfer and have placed an offer with his club Mallorca. The Mexican international is set to leave the Iberostar Stadium this coming transfer window following on from Los Bermellones’ relegation from La Liga.

Swansea to sign Canas from Betis - ESPN FC
Canas, 26, is the first signing of what should prove to be a busy summer for Swansea ahead of demanding third season in the Premier League which has to be coupled with Europa League football. And chairman Huw Jenkins insists manager Michael Laudrup will have "substantial funds" to strengthen his squad.
