Pre-season’s first week schedule | FC Barcelona
The first team squad will be back at work next Monday morning when they are due at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for their regular pre-season medical checkups and tests. From Tuesay, Tito Vilanova will be holding morning and evening training sessions starting at 9.00 and 19.00 to avoid the midday heat in Barcelona.

The Madrid-based club appealed to CAS to get both the RFEF's ruling overturned and also for provisional measures that could have enabled them to be included in next week's draw for the third qualifying round of the Europa League. However, CAS on Thursday rejected the provisional application, while confirming a hearing to decide on the case's full merits is set to be held in the next few weeks.

Getafe make Escudero deal permanent - ESPN FC
Getafe have completed the permanent signing of left-back Sergio Escudero from Schalke for a reported fee of €500,000. Escudero, 23, who has penned a five-year contract, spent the second half of last season on loan at the Liga club.
