Thiago Alcántara sold to Bayern Munich for 25 million euros | FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich have agreed to terms for Thiago Alcántara. The German club will pay a fee of 25 million euros for the midfielder. The agreement also stipulates that a friendly will be played between the two teams in the next four years. The 22-year-old leaves the Blaugrana after playing for the first team for two seasons.

Thiago Alcántara bid farewell to his ex-teammates and the coaching staff at 9.30 this Monday morning, when he visited the Ciutat Esportiva. The deal between Barça and Bayern Munich for the transfer of Thiago was announced on Sunday afternoon and was worth 25 million Euros, plus a friendly game between the two teams over the next four years.

There were wins for Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao, but Valencia lost their first game in Germany, as preseason got underway this weekend. Betis have begun preparations for the new season with two games in as many days, starting their preseason fixture list with a 7-0 win away to local side Los Barrios and this was followed a day later on the Saturday with a 5-0 win at Arcos.
