Club reach deal in principal to sell David Villa to Atletico Madrid | FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of David Villa. The deal is set to bring Barça a maximum of 5.1 million Euros, with 2.1 due this season, 2 more if Villa stays at Atletico next year and another million should he be at the Madrid club the season after. Barça also reserve the right to 50% of any sell on fee in the future.

On from yesterday’s announcement that Atleti had agreed a €5.1m deal to sign the 31-year-old from Barca, the player arrived in the Spanish capital in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Atleti have now confirmed that Villa has passed a preliminary medical examination, held at a clinic in Majadahonda, Madrid.

Sevilla have agreed a deal with Club Brugge to take Colombian striker Carlos Bacca to the Sanchez Pizjuan as a replacement for Alvaro Negredo, reports Spanish daily Marca. According to the newspaper, Bacca has long been "an obsession" for Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi and it seems that after agreeing a €7 million fee with the Belgian club, Sevilla finally have their man.
